Monument to Hans Christian Andersen

Bronze, 1.8m., Moscow (Russia) 2011

The Day of Kindness with Hans Christian Andersen was held on December 10, 2011, on the day when the opposition was protesting in the Bolotny square! The salvation of Russia is in its spirituality and kindness, and celebrating the Day of Kindness as a holiday, is the rebirth of the light that makes up our national pride and gives us the right to hope for the same beautiful future as the spiritual past was.

The tales of the great Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen teach us goodness, and in his fairy tales, good always triumphs over evil. Although, we know that good never fights evil. This evil is trying to fight him. And goodness/kindness simply creates goodness. And the more goodness in the world, the happier our life.
