On November 5, the opening of the Symbol of Kindness “Dandelion” took place in Bishkek, to celebrate the 25-th anniversary of the independence of Kyrgyzstan. It is symbolic that Kyrgyzstan has become the 25-th country where Dandelion was installed. A Symbol of Kindness is a gift from Russia to Kyrgyzstan. State Duma deputy Sergei Baburin and secretary of the Union of Journalists Viktor Cheremukhin arrived at the opening from Moscow. The opening was attended by the elite of Kyrgyz society, the speaker of the first parliament, army general, rector of institutes, journalists, artists. The monument is set against the background of the hotel “Akkime”, which means “White ship” according to the novel by Chingiz Aitmatov. This parallel of the artist’s ideas about kindness and the search for human values in Chingiz Aitmatov, coincide in the struggle for humanistic ideals. And it is not by chance that the artist is now working on the image of the writer Chingiz Aitmatov. Tokayim Zhumakovna, Ruslan Adykanovich Sarymsakov, and Vera Anatolyevna Boldycheva greatly helped the project.
